I'm getting 99 fletching as I write this, in the last while I've been working on 99 fletching and have looked for lots of different methods, lucky me I found a very easy, relaxed way of making a fair bit of profit while also gaining decent amounts of fletching EXP. This is mostly for the lazy or those of lower levels who don't have access to better money making methods.
It's fletching onyx bolts.

Onyx bolts are fletched in sets of 10 and 10 sets of 10 will take about 16 seconds. We'll round this up to 20 seconds for 10 sets since people aren't flawless fletching machines. But again , this is not for everyone. If you've got the money and you're willing to spend it to train fletching faster, broads are still your best bet. I know, we all should know that by now.

It also requires a large amount of GP to really do easily. Buying the limit of onyx bolts and runite bolts, paying 1GP higher than the instant sell price, is already A lot of people who have that kind of money are just going to do broads.
Onyx bolts are almost exclusively bought by merchants who are aiming to profit and players seeking to enchant them, the former will make your profits smaller and smaller while wasting your time by constantly putting in a price 1GP less than your sell price and the latter are just really inconsistent buyers.
So often you can completely get rid of thousands instantly but generally you'll be waiting a long while unless you want to give into the merchants and sell for their price.
Overall it's a pretty silly, niche method that can be a huge pain in the ass but also have a pretty decent payout. I don't expect many of you will bother to take advantage of it but personally? When I found this method I was really excited.
It's been a fun way to make money and a fun way to train fletching. I hope at least a few of you take advantage of it or at least found reading this fun, I know the silly methods of training are often not necessarily overlooked but definitely not put in the spotlight either, so I thought showcasing this would be fun.
And one last thing, here's a screenshot of me obtaining 99 fletching, while fletching my onyx bolts, of course. Wow so cool most impressive 99 in the game!!! I'm not too worried, the profits can't get screwed that much though, because of lots of stuff.
For example, buy limits. Perhaps more importantly, onyx bolts are, in a way, "tied" to onyx bolts e , which have a 9K alch price. Onyx bolts e can't fall that far down or they'll be bought up due to being great alchs, and onyx bolts can't fall that far or the players wanting to profit by enchanting them will buy them up.
I haven't played for a year, but onyx bolts and bolt tips used to be a hugely neglected item. This is not sustainable. I've tried purchasing bolt materials in the past while I was training fletching. It takes way too much money and time to obtain a sizable stock to consistently train. You just ensured this is even harder to do by posting this. Once you start needing to undercut margins on items you're better off skipping the item processing phase and move to flipping.
Merching is simply buying and selling the items for profit. This method requires a skill and gives xp as well. I consider this a skilling profit. Did you even read the guide? If he simply bought then processed then sold he would have made a loss, he even said that.
The ONLY reason he profits is because he merches the resources and finished product.. Imagine i merched onyx bolt tips while fletching broads and decided to lump it all into one action, you wouldn't call that profit from broads would you?
